CALLING FEATURES PROVIDE:

CALLING FEATURES AND HOW THEY WORK:

Anonymous Call Rejection

Rejects incoming calls from callers who have their name and number blocked.

Call Forwarding – All

Forwards all calls to another number. You can change the forwarded number as needed.

Call Forwarding – Busy

This feature is separate and distinct from Call Forwarding – All. If your line is busy, an incoming call will automatically be forwarded to a fixed number. This number is determined at the time of activation, and cannot be changed. Call Forwarding – All will override the Call Forwarding – Busy option. This option is always active.

Call Forwarding – No Answer

This feature is separate and distinct from Call Forwarding – All. After a set number of rings, if no one answers the phone, the call is forwarded to a fixed number. This number is determined at the time of activation, and cannot be changed. Call Forwarding – All will override the Call Forwarding – No Answer option. This option is always active.

Call Forwarding - Remote

Forwards calls from one phone number to another. The number forwarded to be determined at the time of activation and cannot be changed.

Caller ID Blocking

Prevents your phone number from being displayed on Caller ID panels. When you place a call, the identification panel on the receiving Caller’s ID panel will indicate an unknown name and number.

Caller ID Name and Number

A special unit displays the number of the phone and the name of the caller even before you pick up the phone. An add-on display unit or display telephone is necessary.

Caller ID with Call Waiting

You identify your call waiting calls before you answer. Caller ID Name and Number are required for this service.


Call Transfer

Allows the user to transfer calls to a third party. The person initiating the transfer can either stay on the line or hang up, without disrupting the call. Similar to transferring calls at work, now you can transfer calls from home to another phone number.

Call Waiting

When you’re using your telephone, a tone alerts you that another call is coming in. You can switch between the call you’re on and the new one.

Cancel Call Waiting

For those times you wish to cancel Call Waiting.

Priority Ringing

You can tell by a distinctive ring when designated people are calling.

Telemarketer Call Screening
With this service, all calls will be screened with the exception of local calls. Other callers will hear the announcement "The number you have reached does not accept calls from Telemarketers. If you are a Telemarketer, please add this number to your Do Not Call List and hang up now. If you are not a Telemarketer, please press '1'," If the caller presses '1', the service will remember their phone number so the next time they call you they will not hear the message. (you can also add or delete numbers from this list).

The service will effectively screen telemarketers, because they should not press the 1 to connect. You do not have to activate anything for telemarketer call screening to work. However, if you wish to take advantage of other call management features provided by the service, please read on to find out how Smart Telemarketer Call Screening can work for you.


SimRing (Simultaneous Ring)

Program up to four phone numbers that ring simultaneously when the primary phone number is called. Can be used with other telephones, cell phones or pagers, even those not on HMU service. The first phone that is answered will be connected to the call.

Second Directory Number

Allows a second directory number to be assigned at a residence. When the second number is dialed, the phones will ring with a distinctive ringing pattern to identify which number is being called.

Serial Hunt

Rollover of incoming calls between your designated lines.

Speed Dial 8 or 30 Numbers

Allows you to program frequently dialed phone numbers with a one or two digit code.

Three-Way Calling

You can talk with two other parties at the same time.

Voice Mail

When someone calls, and your line is busy, or if no one answers, the call will roll over to voice mail. If someone leaves a message, a stuttered dial tone is heard when you pick up your phone. You can also retrieve your messages from any other phone by using your personal PIN code.

All customers will have a 900- number block at no charge. If you wish to remove, contact our office. A deposit will be required for activation.
